Default Able to surf on browser but not App World??

Please Login to Remove!

Guys,

What's going on with my BB? Sometimes I face the problem where I can surf no problem on my browser but not on App World? And whenever this happens, the rest of my apps also can't go online...

I do not have BIS package and I go online via WiFi or 3G. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't. Why does this happen?

You need a BB data plan for the BB browse, App World and any other RIM related apps. Since you didn't define the apps that weren't working, it is difficult to say. Plus you need to be in a country where App World is authorized for use.

Bottom line, get a BB data plan from your carrier and everything should work as advertised via cell and WiFi.

Eg. of apps, GMAIL, Whatsapp, LogicMail... It works fine sometimes but not everytime... I really dun understand as 3rd party applications do not require BIS.

It doesn't work every time because BlackBerry devices were made to be used with BlackBerry data plans. Period. If it ever works any other way it is a matter of luck.
