IT WORKED FOR ME! HOPE IT'S A SOLUTION FOR MOST OF US USERS OF POCKETMAC!!!

Miraculously, this afternoon I synced my Curve 8310 to my Entourage contacts and calendar AND I DIDN'T GET ANY DUPLICATE CONTACTS OR CALENDAR EVENTS!!! It was a grrrreat feeling as you all can imagine!

In fact, for the first time, PocketMac identified conflicts and asked me what to do.

Basically, I connected and started the software in a different order. First, I connected my device to my mac without having PocketMac software open on my machine. Then, obviously I started up PocketMac and simply synced. Believe me, it worked .... and I hope it works for every other user of this most bashed software.

Second time syncing.

All success once again! So, the order in which you connect your device and open the app. matters.

Just about to install Leopard. Wish me luck!

I have Leopard, and now my 8230 will not sync... keep getting the skipping error. Tried it with the media card mass storage off and with it on, but the auto enable set to "no" and still no sync.

if anyone has any advice please post.

OK...Help please. Have the 8310 BB Curve. I am on Mac OS 10.5.2 Leopard running Entourage. I am trying to get my Contacts & Calendar into this Curve. HELP PLEASE!!! From what I am seeing on forums...PocketMac is not the answer or will work for the 8310. HELP PLEASE!

It worked for me as well with sync prompting me with conflicts to corrects it works great.
