Default BES and Groupwise problem

Please Login to Remove!

We recently created a new GroupWise post office and moved some existing users onto it.
After doing so we restarted the Blackberry controller and for all but one of the Blackberry users involved everything was fine.

One of our users stopped receiving email to his BB after the move.

I have tried restarting the Blackberry controller, restarting the BES, removing the user from the BES and setting him up again and wiping the device and trying to reactivate but every time the logs show the same:

[14047] (09/24 00:00:09):{0xCF8} {22} {User Name} Login Failed

I understand that this relates to the BES not realising the account has changed post office but does anyone have any idea how I can fix it?

Any help much appreciated.

I'm not sure I will be able to help, but the first thing I would check is Console One. In the menu under Groupwise Utilities --> User Move status I would make sure that the user you are having problems with fully moved to the new PostOffice. If he has completely moved, I would remove the User in BES and readd him. Then activate him again, I would make sure you back up his contacts before you proceed. Other than those two things I can't think of anything else to check.

Now if RIM would release BES 4.1.5 or 4.1.6 for Groupwise I would be ecstatic.

Thank you - I tried all of that but the same problem kept occurring. The GroupWise account had definitely completed it's move.

I have moved his GroupWise account back to the old post office and reactivated him on the BES and everything is fine again.

I might try moving him again if I get the time.
