I'm thinking of designing a theme, now what do you theme designers use to make icons? How big do they have to be? What file type should they be saved as? Any recommendations on how to or whatever you can think of... Any thoughts are appreciated... Thanks!

I use photoshop CS4.
You should save them as a .png file.
Also you can look up the dimensions of all blackberry icons on google.
