In my gmail sent box, i keep seeing reply emails that i never sent to various people that have emailed me- always right after I receive an email from them. it says "Delivered: RE: the subject" the in the body it says "Your message was delivered to the recipient."

i do not know if this means my Tour is replying blank emails to these people. Any help or ideas??

Are the senders asking for delivery and read receipts perhaps?

Is it possible someone has your email info and password? I BIS settings to be sure they are set up correct.
Normally users can ask for delivery confirmation on some systems.

no one has my email info/password. i think the delivery receipt is definitely a possibility, but gmail does not have that feature, so i can test the theory-- frustrating!

Makeup a new email address and test it. Yahoo, Gmail or Hotmail etc.

Messages > Options > Email Settings > Message Services =

Set:
Send Delivery Receipts = No
Send Read Receipts = No

the issue is not that i am receiving receipts. the issue is that i am sending them- i believe. i see these messages in my SENT box.

Yes, I know you're sending them.
The setting I gave you above will stop that from happening.
This is a GMail/BIS feature that is enabled by default.

You're not sending blank emails.
