Default Media Card - can it be used to boost application storage?

Please Login to Remove!

Is the media card purely for adding music, pictures, videos (e.g. Media) or can it be somehow configured to be a storage for other OS uses. I have a ton of apps on my BB and it can run slow. I do really want to remove any of them, so I am looking for another solution.

If not, I guess I will have to rank my apps and remove the bottom ranked apps.

thx

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

There may be a third party app for this. To my knowledge, media card is for media.

Yes there is a way! The program is called Aerize Card Loader. It's not free. Type Aerize Card Loader into Google.

I would give you the link but this site has the bright idea that you have to make 10 posts before you can give links. Come on blackberryforums.com moderators! You are preventing people from helping others. Do you really think that spammers and the malware folks can't get around that restriction by just making 10 random posts?

That allows you to load the app from the media card, but it still takes up memory once loaded.

Yes, it is a VERY good rule.
