Just cracked the screen on my blackberry storm. Went to the local Verizon store and they would not quote a price to repair the unit. Since I don't have insurance, I guess I have to do this myself.

I want to order a replacement screen on EBAY but I am not sure how to install this.

Does anyone have instructions on how to do this? Do I need any kind of special equipment? Any tips?

you will also find a replacement screen. i have bought from them before, they are reputable and their parts are real OEM. i would recommend any special tools (torx) as well as the plastic prying tools and the small pik that's used to get into sticky/small areas.

He purchased a new screen online and took the unit and screen to a local cellular phone tech who completed a flawless job for $20 USD.

Look around your town, there is usually a cellie tech familiar with Blackberry dismantling.
