Default Setting alarm tones

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

Just wondering, is it possible to set an mp3 track (saved on the media card) as the alarm tone as I'm getting a bit sick of waking up to Antelope!

I know you can set as ringtone but unsure of how to as an alarm.

Hope you can help

Peter

Yes, when selecting the Tune, the first option is Browse....just browse to the Media Card and select your mp3 of choice.

I've tried to set the alarm tune to an MP3 but when I browse the Media Card, it shows nothing even though MP3's are there. Any thoughts from anyone would be much appreciated.

Your MP3 ringtone has to be under 500kb, I believe. make it less than 30 secs long.

Tried that and still couldn't see the MP3 when I browsed to the Media Card. I made the file 28 seconds and 397KB. BTW, the mp3 plays fine in the Media Player and I can even set it to my phone tune, but just can't set it to my alarm.

Oops, my mistake. I didn't realize I had to put the mp3 in the ringtones folder. Boy do I feel stupid. Got it now. Thanks.
