Exclamation Car Audio using 8300...

Wondering if anyone has found a fm tuner cable that connects to the mini usb on my blackberry 8300 & would plug into my car lighter? I want to use my blackberry similar to how an ipod connects in a car through your fm stations.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I've used mine in my two cars, but those cars have aftermarket 3.5mm headset plugins which have been added to the factory stereos and the BB plays as "Aux" in the Mazda and as "CD 6" in the Camry--using the CD changer control module. Mazda came with capability, but Circuit City added modulator for the Camry. The mini-usb continues to be used for charging in the car while playing music, if necessary.

I use the "I-Pod" plug that i also use for my Sirius Satalite Radio, it plugs into the tape deckof the car from the headset plug of the 8300. My '04 has no audio inputs.

I think you may not be able to do it the way you want- my belief is the device has to "broadcast" at that stations frequency. My Sat radio does that-0 you can even change the frquency to match up to a static station for good clarity. I live in an area where there is virtually zero dead air so I use the casette plug instead. 8300 does not broadcast so I do not think it will work but I do not know for sure.

Good Luck
