Default Problem Linking "All Day Events" in Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

It seems that my "all day events" (birthdays, etc) link over to Outlook covering TWO days, not just one. The only thing I can figure is there's a discrepancy in the "hours" causing Outlook to think it's 12:01 to midnight and therefor covering two days. When I change it to just one day in outlook, it no longer shows up as an "all day event" on the BB, but instead from 1am to 11:59pm.

Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it?

Yeah, I have this problem sometimes.
It's weird... doesn't do it with all the calender items, but it does with some.
haven't found a solution yet...

No, not crazy...
I have tried just about everything I can think of to fix this.
I know there is a thread about some problems that people are having syncing Outlook with the BB. Especially the calender....

Sorry I am no help.

It's an Outlook problem. It has to do with the way Time Zones are handled. If you create an all day event and then switch time zones, it carries the event as a 24 hour deal - not "all day" so it looks like it is spanning two days.

And just wait until March 11th...

Make sure that the Time Zone on your Blackberry is set to the same Time Zone as your PC. I've had the same issue with some of my users, and usually its because the time zone in the BB wasn't set for EST, and the PC was.

Actually I think I figured it out today... The time zone is the same for both the BB and the laptop and I haven't traveled, so I know that's not it. But it looks like it's only happening between March 11th (this sunday) and the original date of the daylight savings time (early april?) I updated both BB and laptop with the patch but it must have only "took" on my BB.

I set an appointment on my BB for the time change (just in case the patch didn't work) for 1am on March 11th and with a "1hr" time frame it ends at 3am. The same is NOT true on my laptop so that MUST be the difference.
