I have transferred several movies from my PC to the directory /media/videos of my PB. I can watch them all with the PB video player.
Some of these movies have a subtitle file (.srt), and I bought Moviesrtplayer to watch them with subtitles. I was very surprised when I saw that I could not see all the movies, hence I figure it was a problem with the srt player.
I kept digging, and using AIRBrowser I found out that I could not see those files either. I checked the properties of the "problematic" files, and they appear to be fine (not hidden, archived, nobody user group, etc).

What could be the problem here?

this happens to me from time to time. I'll transfer files over via wifi, and nothing can see the files. i'll restart and they'll pop up in the video (for example) player like i wanted.

If it's one specific file type, then i don't know, it looks like the OS it's self is hiding them from you.
