Hey! I want to put a password on my blackberry to access home screen on my Curve 8520 but the only type of password I can get, is to put a timeout on?

Is there any way that I can get a password on, or any apps that can do this?

The timeout time is for the device to automatically go back to password protected mode if it has not been used for a while.
If you want to protect your homescreen, you need to install the password mode.

To activate the password mode after you are done doing what you have to do with your device, click on the the password lock icon.

The device password is the only one. You could hide the "files and whatnot" but that is more trouble than it's worth IMO.
