Default please help with unlock 9530

Please Login to Remove!

I have just unlocked a verizon 9530 and is using it on Tmobile. I downloaded BB app world onto phone but when i try to click on the app it says "Blackberry App world is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App server. verify your network connections and try again." In mobile network options my mobile network is Tmobile and network technology is GSM/UMTS. Is there some other setting I need to change to BB app world server?

Do you have a blackberry data plan from your carrier? Not a cell add on data plan.

I have an unlocked 9700 and Apps World is working. I'm on UMA so it's speedy too. Your post was 30 minutes ago. Is it working for you now?

STOP - the 9530 is different than the 9700. T-Mobile sells the 9700, so it has ALL of the appropriate Service Books available on their network.

T-Mobile does not have the 9530, does not publish all of the Service Books and is therefore different.

Comparing apples and oranges here.

RIM will charge you $49 minimum just to talk to you.

Since your carrier (TMobile) doesn't sell the device you are trying to use, it will be up to you to manually load the generic Service Books from TMobile and then follow the steps to get the data services working.

If you search for "how to get ALL the features working on an unlocked storm", you should find instructions.

Check the yellow sticky at the top of the 9500 section for instructions on using a 9500 on AT&T and TMO.

It is not polite to ask an unrelated question in another person's thread.

If all else fails I ALWAYS google the info I need. Most of the time I can find it, sometimes with a lot of searching. Hope you've found it but if not try that.
