Default OS Question

So I'm toying around with OS installation and all that and I wanted to know what OS(and hybrid) does everyone find the most stable meaning longest battery life and less memory leaks?

Which device do you have? There's model number 8339.

If you are new to the BB, perhaps you need to play around with it for awhile and find out what it can and cannot do and see if it works for you the way it is.

You may find that it isn't broken and doesn't need to be fixed.

OS' are device specific. Check the yellow sticky at the top of the section for your device. There you will find the latest OS and the instructions for how to upgrade. Follow them exactly and be patient. It can take an hour or longer to complete. And make sure that you have a good back up before you start.

And please update your profile to indicate which device you have. There is no 8339. I assume that you have the 8330?

yeah, its 8330. only reason i ask is i installed the latest 5.0 OS and its a real battery drain imo(however, it has a nice interface and gui ill say that much. everything runs so much better) so just was wondering if there was an OS that offers a more ideal battery life and has less memory leak problems. only thing i actually do is SMS/MMS and maybe some browsing.
