Default Loose Keypad

Please Login to Remove!

Just got my 8900 today.
Noticed that when I touch the keypads, it's a bit loose. Seems the keypad doesn't fit snuggly that I can slightly move it up and down.

Is this normal? Or should the keypads be tight?

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

There should be some give? Are you sure its not a loose battery door? If you dont feel comfortable, return it?

A small amount of play in the keypad shoudn't be an issue-if it is enough to effect your abilty to navigate or type from the keypad, returning it is an option.

mine does the same thing; I changed the bezel and keyboard yesterday and it still has a bit of movement, doesn't really bother me but it seems some have more slop than others

not the battery door. it's the keypad itself that moves up and down. i wish it was a snug fit. might return it today.

navigating and typing is ok. the "movement" does bother me.

Mine has the same play, too. Noticed it right after I got it but it doesn't bother me and has not been any kind of issue.
