Shoretel 9.0 BES 4.1 MCM intergration

I have a BES 4.1 with Exchange that has been installed for sometime. I have no current issues with devices or the server itself. I have recently installed a Shoretel VOIP phone system with verison 9.1.
Shoretel has an app for the blackberry that allows changes to extension assignment and the ability to place a call from the blackberry but the call will go out using the PRI from the office giving the office CID. I can get to the shoretel server and install the MCM ( mobile call Manager) that allows for the intergration, but when I try to connect to the server, it fails. I have tried on different blackberrys with differnet carriers. Also when I get a VM on the shoretel system it show up in my outlook inbox, but does not show on the blackberry. I had a shoretel tech here most of the day looking at the issue. The servers are both Win2003 with SP2, all DNS entries are correct and they can browse each others directories. I have looked over the web and there are a few others with the issue but no answers. Anyone has any insight as I have muddled thru the IT policy without finding anything that would stop the communication.
I also have an install of RoveIT mobile admin and can select the shoretel server and perform all functions.
