Hi all.
As of today im new to the exciting world of Blackberry.
I set up a blackberry email account. I can send emails from my hotmail to blackberry, but i cant send from blackberry to hotmail.
Whats the deal?

Nevermind...i cant send from hotmail to BB.
It worked once. Now it is undeliverable.
How do i set up email?

What is happening when you try to send? Are you getting a little red "x" or some sort of error message. For the most part whenever you cannot send emails but you can receive there is some sort of validation or authentication failure. I would go into the email setup wizard on your blackberry and check to make sure that the e mail account is validated.

One was a check mark...but the email was never delivered to my hotmail account.
The other was, and still is, a symbol that looks like a "BULLSEYE"
Do i have to setup a gmail or yahoo account first...for this to work?

Are you trying to send from a Blackberry email address to a hotmail address that you have set up on the device as well? Or someone elses hotmail? If the hotmail address is not set up on the device you may want to check your regular web inbox to see if it's arrived there. If it is set up on the device you may want to try a hard reset, pulling the battery out while the device is still powered on, and try to resend it after it's powered back on. You might need to resend the service books via your bb management website, or get in contact with your service provider. A good way to test your emails that are set up on the device is to send an email from the address to the same address, example sending an email to the blackberry account from the blackberry account.
