can anyone tell me how to search for the best stregnth from towers. Im with AT & T and i think there is a code to update roaming capabilities. Thanks for help
Here is what I found out through AT&T forums.*228 is correct for Verizon customers, with AT&T any updates are automatically pushed to your SIM. With GSM unlike CDMA you will not be prevented from connecting to any tower that has a valid roaming agreement even if the updates have not been pushed to your SIM. The updates just make you connect faster and perfer one carrier over another if there is more than one carrier to choose from. This is explained on AT&T forums. It sounded good. : )
