Hi all,

Hope someone can help:
We have a new Exchange 2007 solution with a new BES 4.1.5, this will be providing for 18000 Exchange and 2000 BB users, all works great apart from 1 issue!

There are mulitible mailbox databases (old mailstores) for performance and managment, however "Besadmin" has a mailbox also, which lets say sits on Database 1, if database 1 goes offline or becomes corrupt, then does:

1. All BB mail flow stop?
2. No devices can be activated true/false?
3. Possible solution?

Any advice or direction would be most welcome.

Why don't you take Database 1 offline after hours and test it out? I don't have an answer for you, but I'll bet this is a good way of finding one!

Possible solution? Exchange clustering, which I hear sucks in 2007.

Or simply put BESAdmin in their own database - I could be mistaken but BESAdmin account doesn't really do much aside from allowing it do things on behalf of others.

Ok, as suggested, took DB1 offline!
All Blackberry mailflow stopped, no activations possible, the solution is clustered and getting the database back online is not a problem (test only) but I was looking for a possible way of having redundancy in the BES admin account so if the database holding that account was corrupt, I could just "enable" another account?
