On the title line you wrote 8830 and 8810

In the body you wrote 8330 and 8310...

I will assume you meant the 83xx.

The 8330 is a CDMA based device (Verizon, Sprint, etc.)
The 8310 is a GSM device.

Both have cameras and GPS.

They are pretty much the same except they work on different radio networks. The 8310 will work outside of North America. The 8330 (CDMA) will work in a very few places outside of NA.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry Pearl 8100)

My sister-in-law has the Verizon 8330 and I noticed that the device has more device memory on it than the 8310. I think it comes with 80MB of memory on the device instead of the typical 64MB. I think this is the case with the Sprint 8330 as well.

And the poster is correct - the 8330 has 80MB of memory as opposed to 64MB on the 8300/10/20.

The 8330 also has O.S. 4.3... It's capable of one or more seperate calendars, though only able to sync the default.

Thanks for the quick info. I ordered my 8330 last week and I talked a doctor I work with into ordering one yesterday during some downtime in the E.R. When he was ordering his we noticed that there were 8330 and 8310 available so we got confused. Thanks.

Where were you ordering from? A single carrier can't offer both. Be sure to select your carrier based on coverage first -- not the other way around.

I bought mine from Ebay, Alltel 8330. We were browsing ebay for him too. He has Verizon. I let him know that the other model was a GSM and I explained to him about Verizon being CDMA. Thanks

I cant wait. I just stuck my 700wx on ebay Alltel Treo 700wx WM Pro PPC + extra battery - eBay (item 200232228458 end time Jun-23-08 07:30:35 PDT)

Thanks for looking out for me

In another 3 months it"ll all be the same company, I'm sure
