Hey All,

I am in the process of re-claiming my life (cancelled Cingular voice/BB service on my 7100g!). I eBay'd it and replaced it with a standard voice handset (RAZR). Now, I would like to get a "data only" BB for my email and calendar purposes, so it wouldn't be used for voice at all.

My choices are as follows:

T-Mobile: 7100t, 7290
Cingular: 7100g(again), 7290

Due to my national business account, the device cost is negligible, so I'm just shopping on handset features and network. I would consider some tethering when travelling, so it would seem that T-Mo would be better with the all you can eat gprs.

Anyone else do the same as what I'm trying to achieve here?

If its going to be data only, I would say the 7290 for T Mobile. Main reason for that is the 7100 series seem to be more "phone" oriented. So if I where you I would go a BB that is more "email" oriented.
