Hello everybody I'm new to the BB world, glad to be here, couple ??????????

1) I tried charging my phones battery via usb through my PC(green light on phone blinking), I woke up in the morning to find it completely dead...the screen had a battery with what looked like a lightening bolt through it???? Anyways when I got to work i plugged into the wall charger and it came back to life....Anybody hear of this?

2) What are people finding as a easy to use leather belt holster/ case now a days? I like the leather case it came with but hate keeping the darn thing in my pocket.

Welcome to the forums.

1) You need to have the drivers on your PC to charge via the USB. Install Desktop Manager and that will take care of this for you.

2) It is a matter of preference. I switch between the stock belt clip holster and the Fortte case, with no belt clip. Both work well for when I need them.

Thanks, I did download the manager... Does that have to running while Im charging?

No you don't need it running, AFAIK.

You need to verify you have the RIMUsb.inf and the RIMUsb.sys drivers installed on your PC.
