AVRCP not working

Having a problem with AVRCP. I have a pair of Dell BH200 headphones (they're avrcp capable and they've got FF/RW/Play/Pause buttons on them). The Dell headphones pair properly with the bold. In services, I see A/V Remote Control (among other services). I've tried deleting and re-pairing the BH200.
The only buttons that work on the BH200 are volume up/down and power on/off. The BH200 works properly when I pair it with my wife's bb (an 8220) so I'm certain it's not a problem with the BH200.
My Bold is new, running latest OS (5.0.0.743). In device properties, I have the following settings:
Trusted: Yes
Encryption: Enabled
Echo Control: Automatic
Services:
Handsfree
Headset
A/V Remote Control
Audio Sink
