Universal search for text messaging

Hey guys, for the past few weeks my phone has not been giving me recent search results of text messages... What I mean by that is if I search something I text during a conversation and I know it's a recent one, it wont show something from maybe a week ago, but it will show texts from over a month ago...
Basically my search is not showing anything recent... For example I was talking and a convo popped up, I wanted to look back in the conversation and I looked it up with the word drugs (we were talking about meds) and that words came up but from a few weeks prior, not from a few days prior...
Sometimes I text I think you're great to my fiance, and for the sake of argument I search it, it shows the times I txt it to her weeks ago but not the ones from days ago, what gives???
As far as I know, none of my texts after Feb 3rd are coming up in any universal searches... Is this a common prob?
I have a 9650 Bold for Sprint...
