I'm having trouble with my BBM application, it all of a sudden freezes cannot do nothing then it says it has stopped working and in order for it to work again i need to restart the phone... Any help, this is happening every 1-2 days

What troubleshooting have you already tried?

I don't know the answer. I would start with a search on the exact error message. Maybe this a known issue with a known solution.

Some other ideas: Close chats when you are done. Look at any BBM-linked apps and de-link them. Delete BBM and reinstall it. Do a security wipe and test. Reload the OS. ... Obviously, start with the least troublesome first.

ive reinstalled it looked for updates etc cleared the log and i get this message

Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_qm_peer (216) is not responding, process terminated

Another idea is a corrupt contact entry, corrupt contacts database, or contact(s) with oddball characters in their name. Again, start with the simple first. If you do have a contact with very strange characters in the name, try removing that contact as a test. Last step would be to clear the BBM database and restore it from an old backup or manually recreate it from scratch.
