Default INDOSAT problems with curve 8900

Please Login to Remove!

I'm using Curve 8900 quite a while now. then a few days ago it stucked on boot screen that say something about RIM's licenses bla..bla..bla.
Then I contact my carrier (Indosat) but they ask me to go to the store I bought my handheld. So there I went, and they said they wbould handle it but I shoul wait for 6 months (???)
So then I decided to fix it by myself.
I tried soft reset, hard reset to no avail.
Then I read the FAQ page and download JL_CMDR to wipe my device. And it wiped out now.
But there's another problem : I can't re-install OS. I try to download the Handheld OS but it said that the page is not available. After 3 efforts of downloading.
Any suggestion?

I also tried to re-install using the original CD that came with the device.
And it end up white screen with error 507 message

Can anybody help me please?

the original cd dosent have the OS for the phone on it...so...no wonder you get a 507 error.

where are you downloading the OS from?
are you using an idosat OS or another carrier's OS?

I finally succeeded downloading the spesific OS from the very own blackberry.com.
then I wiped it again using JL CMDR and upgrade the Indosat OS for 8900 (4.6.1.250)
but I still have that problem.
my friend said it's IT Policy matter, so then I reset the IT Policy to factory setting.
But after re-boot it back to it's 'dorman' states. I still have no clue on 'waking up' this monster.
Help me please. And thanks a lot
