All in all, a very complimentary review from Walt Mossberg.
However, when he mentions the Cingular offers a faster network than T-Mo, he fails on 2 counts:
1) he doesn't mention that Cingular will soon get the Pearl
2) he fails to mention that in most markets Cingular is still on EDGE; that is why so many of their new phones for the holiday season still will only be EDGE compatible
As for his preference for the Treo 700p...all I can say that Walt is so enamored with his first love, Palm, that he is willing to overlook its obvious flaws. Apparently, he'd rather have a much bulkier unit to carry around, and one that requires a reset rather frequently, compared to the rock solid BB.
