There is a new and free app that will work with your BlackBerry 8130. With Verizon, you'll need an external GPS device. You need to be on roads where you have phone coverage, too, of course.

The app you need is Blip by Blackline GPS. Learn about it here: Welcome to BlackLine GPS Inc.. It allows people you choose to track on the web your location and movements using your GPS.

I've tested Blip on my Verizon 8130 using the BT-359 GPS and it worked. I'm planning to write an article on Blip but there's probably no way I can get it done before your bike race this weekend. But what a
