.....still gettin the same results. can't figure out why it doesn't bind the device with channel 1.
$ sudo rfcomm bind 00:0F:86:F6:31:92 channel 1
$ sudo rfcomm -a
rfcomm0: 0C:00:00:00:00:00 channel 1 clean
and here is the result of mt guess work:
$ sudo rfcomm connect 00:0F:86:F6:31:92 rfcomm0
Can't connect RFCOMM socket: Operation now in progress
few seconds later:
$ sudo rfcomm connect 00:0F:86:F6:31:92 rfcomm0
Can't connect RFCOMM socket: Device or resource busy
