If you are the kind of person who can not live a day without e-mail communication, then you may consider having a BlackBerry handheld device tucked on your waist.

It’s just like wearing a belt. Errr, rather a holster. As you get used to it, the BlackBerry becomes part of you.

The BlackBerry is nice to have. Not for show off. But for practical reasons. It is to be used to the max.

However, to do so, you have to spend some time learning its features and functions. Furthermore, to make many mistakes along the way. Just what happened to me when I took the BlackBerry (courtesy of Smart Communications) for a ride recently in Cyberspace.

Since it is a small pocket-size electronic communications gadget (in the form of a mobile phone cum personal digital assistant), then typing is definitely for the guy with "little fingers." It is also not for the 40 and above guy who is already double vision and who gets eye strain reading very small letters.

The BlackBerry does not work on pre-paid SIM cards. You have to get a post-paid subscription and have the GPRS feature activated.
