Ok so my phone died the other day. I charged it up, turned it back on and could not find my text message icon at all. I made sure that it was not hiding, I've searched all the blackberry help forums and tried just about everything to get it back. Also, in order to get my messages I have to go to the "search" button and search "text". It finds the icon I can click on it but shows my messages in a strange format I've never seen. Then I have to click on someones message, click to open folders and open SMS Inbox. However!!!!- I can not read the whole entire text, the only part i can read is the part it shows almost like in the subject like I guess you would say?? if I click on the message to open it up, it only shows all the old messages probably upto the day that it died. It does not show the newest message. Then the next issue is if I reply- it doesn't allow me nearly as much characters as it normally does, and once I send it again I cant see it in the screen where you see your text conversations. And then the last issue is- my husbands text messages I can not open at all. I click on his name, it does nothing!!
Oh and I'm not sure if this has anything to do w/ it, but I reset the theme on the phone like i had read suggested. Now when I turn my phone off and back on I get an error message at the main screen :
Uncaught exception: Index 6>=6
If anyone has any idea what may be going on or where I might go to get some info please please please let me know! I'm going crazy!!!
