After using the redirector at work and at home with my own Exchange server, I have to say it's the best non-BES solution by far. You don't have to worry about polling and the e-mail sent from the handheld will be placed in the Sent Items folder. I sync at both places and send mail through both systems and it works great. Considering the cost of BES, If I didn't have a computer just for running the redirector, I'd buy a cheap one just for that one purpose.
