Unhappy Can't sync after Lotus Notes password change

My company requires monthly password changes. I've been using BDM 4.7 for weeks successfully sync'ing contacts, calendar, and tasks (to-do's). But after the password change I keep getting "The Blackberry server is either unavailable or has been specified incorrectly. Try again?" when I try to get BDM to log into Notes with the new password I've entered (and verified) a hundred times. Pls help if you can. My Notes version is 6.5 if that matters.
