there is an update on Cydia that allows jailbroken phones to use skype without crashes. Its been out for days now, and i personally have used skype on jailbroken phone and after the update I have had zero crashes.
From other news it seems that there is some controversy in skype's widespread release on phones. Some countries do not want it at all and others think it should be allowed on all data connection (cell or wifi).
I love it, just wish more of my friends & coworkers had it installed. When traveling overseas its awesome.
