A deleted text message cannot be retrieved except those that were backed up.
The storage limit is generally 250 mb but reaching that limit means your keeping too many on the phone. There is no time limit on text messages saved. One thing that may be causing this is using Blackberry hub and inadvertently deleting a message or email. I have done it.

try this to move the message to email. Then it will be easier to save to a computer or other device.


Compose a new message addressed to your email address. Enter your full email address in the "Recipient" field where you would normally enter the wireless number. copy the information to the new text.
