Facebook Down: Users Unable To Update Status Or Post Pictures
Facebook users are reporting that the site is currently experiencing severe technical issues.
Users around the world have reported that they are unable to post pictures or status updates to the site.
From what we can tell it appears that if you're logged into the network, you can view pages and surf around - but not actually post anything.
The network status checker DownRightNow also suggested that the outage was widespread.
Iain Mackenzie, European communications director for Facebook said:
"We are aware that some people are having problems posting to Facebook and we're looking into it."
