QNX based Blackberries are most likely a year away. I'm guessing at that point it'll OS 8.x

I'm just hoping that this model will be better than the Bold 9650. I wanted to get that device until I kept on reading about all the battery and signal strength issues. I kept my 8330 going all this time and now it's really nearing end of life. Camera's broken, etc. I'm sure this until will be a great upgrade if things actually 'work' with the unit.
