You are definitely doing overkill. Even though the Lithium batteries do not have a memory, they still have a finite (though large) number of charge cycles, so every time it is connected to or removed from a charger a cycle is used. I charge every night regardless, and I won't charge at any other time unless I've used it excessively (my usual point is if it is below 50% at lunch), and I try not to ever let it go below 20%.

In my opinion, taking a mobile device from charger to charger defeats the purpose of having a mobile device.
