I have been using the theme building tools for OS 6 in beta, and I'll say that what is currently available (to me) needs a lot of work apart from bugs. Pretty disappointing experience. But I imagine that it is getting serious work for getting it ready for release, given the ability to give feedback in beta zone on bb.com, and given BB has come out with some really awesome stuff (such as the Torch
. But as one of several examples of disappointment with the theme building tool for OS 6, I'm pretty sure there is no way to add the number of icons per row on the homescreen -- which was one of the very first things I wanted to do.
