Issue resolved for me
After going through the various solutions other posters described, I still was not able to sync as the application failed about 75% through.
I generated the tif.log file as described in BB KB-01451, a poster offered to analyze the files for me but the end-user was in dire need to get this synched.
I analyzed the tif.log file and discovered the next entry should have been #1057, so earlier in the file I was able to locate the details for #1057 and remove this from the outlook calendar.
It appears this was a requested meeting that wasn't accepted and had conflicted with 22 other scheduled appointments. The sync was successful after deleting this recurring appointment.
