ok i have the bb 8100 and it had 4.2 os installed everything worked bluetooh worked perfectly. i downloaded the 4.5 os for the 8100 of the black berry website and i can still send files with bluetooth to people who i have paired from the past but when i try to pair with new people it wont pair. it pairs in there phone but it tells me unable to pair with so so. could it be the os? any way to fix it? also i have found that if you go to your setting and go to security options and go to application permissions when the apps pop up the a 4.5 app and if you go on options there is an option for that app which one of them was communication and i set it to allow( i though well that might be the problem) but no luck. i am a frequent user of bluetooth to transfer data between phones and i get new people everyday and it has stoped me big time. i have tried to pair up 2 brand new bb curves from att and a palm trio and no luck. but i can delete a sombody that i have paired with before and add them with no problem. ahhhhhhhhhhh i am so frusturated.
