I would like to review what they say as I note your circumstance is a little different but you seem to offer a solid lead on this problem. I have an original install of Windows Vista Business on a new IBM ThinkPad. I originally used my BB together with a Dell running XP Pro and had no problems what-so-ever. My BB is an 8703e and the version of BBDesktop software provided with it is v4.1.0.352
