As big as the 9000 is, it's small enough...
...to fit in that little "coin pocket" on jeans. That's where I put my phone, and the 9000 is a snug fit, but not terrible; I compared the 480 x 360 smaller 9700 screen to the 480 x 320 larger 9000 screen, and while those smaller pixels on the 9700 add up to a breathtaking screen, for many reasons already mentioned I like the 9000's bigger screen and keyboard.
Also, I paid $200 less for the bold 9000 than for the 9700 (got it second hand BNIB... check kijiji in your area)
