It sound like the OS was corrupted. If you did not pull the battery after the upgrade do it now and see if it fixes the problem. If not, using the BB Link desktop software try to load the OS. If that does not work try entering the password wrong multiple times to perform a wipe to clean the OS.
Also hopefully the OS you loaded is for the Z10 and not a knockoff or beta
