I have the "Device media processor is busy" error on my Curve 8300 (8330, actually) with the up-to-date OS. None of these tricks have solved the problem. Has RIM fixed this in newer versions of the phone? I'd be willing to upgrade if it I had confidence they'd fixed it.

These posts don't give me the impression that RIM is able/willing to address their software bugs. If I can't be guaranteed that they've addressed this issue, I'll assume they haven't. This is a serious problem, and I would ditch Blackberry in favor of an iPhone.

Does RIM have a Customer Service department from whom I could get reliable information?
