Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

No previous version ever installed. Downloaded latest version of BB Desktop software "600_b047_multilanguage.exe". When attempting to install, advised of requirement to install Visual C++ Redistributable. Have installed the entire Visual C++ Express suite, including Visual C++ Redistributable. For some reason, the installation does not detect this. Read several reports of users who faced terrible problems when followed this direction and "installed anyway".

Can't go for earlier version of BB Desktop, since will need to sync with Outlook 2010.

Is there anyway I can get the installer to detect the existing installation of Visual C++ Redistributable? Will following the direction as if not installed cause any problems?

Appreciate any advice.
