So the phone works well and does not stop at home. As for the download limit. direct WIFI has none. Yes a normal data plan might limit but you don't have one so there is no carrier controlling your data.

I'm still looking at the GYM WIFI and the possibility it's a browser issue.
You might try downloading a different browser like opera mini or another.

Noticed Crackberry had no ideas also.

Try a browser.
