Default BlackBerry 9630 Tour with International SIM Voice AND Data (3G)?

Please Login to Remove!

People have reported successfully calling Verizon to get their Tour unlocked for international use, and verified the unlock with an AT&T SIM - I believe the person reported GSM voice and EDGE data were working (presumably b/c AT&T's 3G operates on a different band). I looked up the Tour's specs, and it says UMTS 2100mhz for the 3G, so if I travel to a country like Taiwan, for example, that has 3G operating on the 2100mhz band, I wonder if I plug in a Taiwanese SIM card with data service into my unlocked Tour if it would work? If so I could get voice and 3G data for the cost of that prepaid card instead of paying Verizon's international roaming plan, which would be pretty huge. The other thing I'd like to know is if people know of prepaid SIM cards with voice+data that I could purchase in the U.S. before the trip so that I don't have to hunt one down from the local telecom when I get there. Thanks for any help/info anyone might be able to offer.
