I have a HTC Droid Incredible 2 (dual-mode Incredible S) with roaming properly activated and in use in Afghanistan. The problem is that it appears that unanswered calls (which is pretty much all of them) are not routed to voicemail. The line simply goes dead. Is this due to the fact that the SIM card in the phone is actually seen by the device as being from Vodafone Netherlands and not Verizon? I had to do some engineering changes in the *#*#4636#*#* menu to make SMS work whilst roaming, so perhaps I need to do the same for voicemail? Maybe I just need to forward calls to Google Voice? My main concern is for people that call me to be able to leave messages.
