I'm trying to sync contacts on my 8900 with a new iMac on Snow Leopard using DM and I get an error message referring me to Blackberry Knowledge Base item KB14954. Within that I see this:

"The BlackBerry smartphone does not have the affected database associated with the organizer data item. For example, Contacts < address book database is not listed in the Clear Data section.

Resolution 4

1. Backup the BlackBerry smartphone data.
2. Verify that the affected database is not listed in the databases section.
3. Delete all BlackBerry smartphone data from the BlackBerry smartphone to retrieve the affected database. See KB14058."

Can someone translate this please? What is the "Clear Data section"? How can my BB not have the Contacts database? Is it saying I have to wipe everything from Contacts to get this to work?
